Grant Gustin Not In The Justice league!
Those of you who watch CW's popular TV show, The Flash, were probably quite upset, I know I was, when you found out that Ezra Miller was cast as The Flash instead of Grant Gustin in the upcoming Justice League movie! But why did Zack Snyder make this decision?
Snyder said, “I just don’t think it was a good fit, I'm very strict with this universe, and I just don’t see a version where… that (tone is) not our world.” And I get where he is coming from. If Zack Snyder continues to direct all the upcoming DC movies, they are all going to be pretty dark and gritty, like Batman vs Superman was, which is not what Grant Gustin's Flash is. Those of you who watch him, will know that his Flash is quite humurous and is rarely as dark as what Zach Snyder wants Justice League to be. Snyder then added,“Even if Grant Gustin is my favorite guy in the world and he’s very good, we made a commitment to the multiverse (idea) so it’s just not a thing that’s possible.” Ezra Miller said, “I’m not avoiding [the TV show] at all, I think it’s awesome! And come on, we’re The Flash! It’s parallel universes. Grant Gustin is The Flash, and I'm The Flash. Don’t you see? It’s the Event Horizon! We crossed it, baby. Grant and I are chillin’. We’re going to have a race — it’s going to be dope.”
And I'm sure Ezra Miller will portray the darker Flash Zack Snyder wants perfectly in The Justice League movie. Part one of The Justice League will be released on the 17th of November 2017. *sigh*! That's more than a year away! I can't wait that long! I guess I'll just focus on The Suicide Squad for now then...
