Arrow: Season 4 Finale

THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS SPOILERS! Season 4 of Arrow is over and, like The Flash season 2 finale, the finale is not what they really wanted. Most of the comments about the finale was made on Twitter and Arrow actor, Stephen Amell, responded to this when he was on Larry King Live. Amell said, "I think Twitter largely is overblown. I'm not saying that these people aren't passionate and I'm not saying that their opinions shouldn't matter but I do think that their voices tend to be so loud that we think the crowd is much bigger than it actually is. I happen to think that it's much smaller. Most people still enjoy a show in the traditional way, which is to watch it... and not to tweet constantly throughout it." What Happened In The Finale!? Once Oliver killed Damien Darhk, a lot of things happened all at once. Lance and Donna leave the city, Thea leaves the city and Diggle, wearing his outfit, has returned to the army. Felicity chose to stay with Oliver in cleaning the city and Oliver became mayor of Starling City! It's hard to say whether the ones that have left the group will be returning for season 5 or not. And speaking of season 5, the finale didn't have any hints or clues as to who the villain will be for the next season, like the season 3 finale, hinting at Damien Darhk.

Season 5 Villain

Stephen Amell said,

“I’ve heard that our big bad, our villain, is something that you can really only do once you’re in the fifth, sixth or seventh season of a TV show,”

TV Line say that the villain could be "irrepressibly charming." and "a man on a mission." Keeping it in the theme of villains who can fight well, maybe because of The League of Assassins or something similar, the villain will probably be a challenge for Oliver, possibly more than Damien Darhk.

Is Season 5 the last?

For every season so far, there have been flashbacks of when Oliver was trapped on the island, Lian Yu, every season being one year. Season 5 would be the 5th year on the island, the last year on the island. From there, it would meet up with what happened in season 1. Does this mean season 5 will be the last season of arrow? Willa Holland, who plays Thea, said,

"We're probably not going anywhere...our show is like a onion, every season you open up another layer.

From your guy's response, as well as the networks response to our show and the creation of all the others that are interlocked into another, it's kinda going to be a never ending cycle for awhile. I don't think anything is going to happen."

I'm sure what Willa Holland said is something all Arrow fans wanted to hear, the flashbacks may change, maybe to another character or the flashbacks may just stop. speaking of flashbacks, Wendy Mericle, the producer of the show, has already said that season 5 will take Oliver to Russia, where he would probably learn...Russian!

Season 5 of Arrow will return later this year!
